New Titles

Well we finally made it to 2013 what an amazing 12 months!
Amazingly busy but very rewarding not to mention educational. I was working on a few books last year and I also had the opportunity to have been selected for illustration residency in the Blue mountains at Pinerolo, I was a very lucky girl!

Those books I was busily working away on are out soon, so take a look at my BOOKS page to see what out now and what on it's way.
Here's the very cute lion & Zebra. I'm so happy with these little board books cant wait for them to be out and about!

A little Book About me and my Grandpa

Finally, it's out today! The Grandpa Book.

The second book after A little book about Me and My Grandma.

It's another special book to write, draw and store your favoutite memories about you and your Grandpa.
There's even a little card in the back to write and send!
Published by The Five Mile Press, you can read more about it HERE
Evie (our naughty but very cute little Dachshund) makes a few appearances in this one.
I like to include places I love going  in these books, so when you get a chance to see a copy, try and spot Cradle Mountain. I've even included the Stone wall at Barwon Heads. Which is one of our favourite spots for eating fish & chips.

Little Birds

One of my favourite animals to draw are birds....no surprises there! And I have been thinking about how unfair it is that the males are so much more colourful than the females.
So I have come up with a solution, I've giving the girls a bit of colour with that essential winter accessory the scarf!

Cat Issues

I'm sure professional artists don't have this problem!
By the way that's not my drinking water, being slightly unprofessional means water pots are what ever is at hand.

Inspiration

It always helps to have a little inspiration for drawing. These lovely girls..and guys are called Baby, Charlie, Wilhelm, Henny Penny and our old girl (5 years) Big Mama.
Can you see our Border Collie lurking in the corner of the photo? The ever helpful sheep dog...
